I’ve personally used WordPress in the past but wanted to try out something less computationally complicated here. I also hope to get employee contributions from coworkers in our various departments.

According to the Japanese Rokuyo (六曜) calendar of auspicious (and less so) days, today, January 30th, 2026 is “Tai’an” or “Great Peace,” a day lucky both morning and evening.
There was a time while I was living in Japan that I would check out each day’s rokuyo designation in a little booklet i came to think of as the Jpanese version of The Farmer’s Almanac to see how well their predictions met my perceptions.
